🧠 My design philosophy:
🌎 I am currently based in the Sacramento/Bay Area, California, but my journey began in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. With an educational background in biology, communications, and graphic design, I bring a unique, interdisciplinary approach to my work—combining analytical precision with creative problem-solving.
I am passionate about creating meaningful impact, inspiring others, and leveraging my global perspective to craft designs that are inclusive, accessible, and delightful. Whether it’s solving complex problems or fostering connections, I strive to make a difference in every project I undertake.
Currently, I am a UX design intern at the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), where I focus on delivering user-centered and accessible design. My work involves conducting qualitative research, such as interviews and usability testing, and quantitative research, including tree-testing and survey analysis. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate products before public launch.
My previous experience in graphic design and digital marketing has honed my skills in visual design, social media management, and project management, all while strengthening my ability to build strong customer relationships.
I thrive in collaborative environments where constructive critique and user-centered thinking drive success. I value diligence and teamwork, believing that success comes through wholehearted dedication. I’m committed to fostering a culture of mutual support, creating a work environment where shared success is the norm.
I am actively seeking opportunities in design roles where I can leverage my expertise in both graphic and UX design to contribute to and grow within a dynamic team. I’m eager to expand my skill set and take on diverse challenges. I bring fresh perspectives and a competitive edge, excited to contribute to innovative projects and ensure an accessible, delightful user experience.
