Imogen Cunningham was an American photographer renowned for her intimate portraits and floral still lifes, characterized by meticulous attention to detail. I was tasked with designing a double parallel brochure to introduce Cunningham and her work. The brochure serves as a keepsake for visitors to remember their experience at her exhibit.

The brochure was designed for the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, where Cunningham's exhibit was displayed for a limited time. The museum's location, in a refined part of LA near UCLA and Beverly Hills, meant the audience would likely include art enthusiasts and college students. As the Layout Designer, I was responsible for fitting seven images across the four-panel brochure, ensuring that the layout flowed intuitively with the accompanying text.
To enhance the visual experience, I integrated letters into the background with natural, earthy color overlays, reflecting Cunningham's focus on floral photography. The brochure's color scheme was carefully chosen to guide the reader: dark green for the front and back pages, brown for the panels introducing Cunningham, and yellow for the section featuring her work and family. The thoughtful use of color and texture created a cohesive and engaging design that aligns with Cunningham's artistic legacy.
